The design phase follows the concept definition phase and takes the developed concept to production maturity. The aim is to design the parts and assemblies in such a way that on one hand they enable the most cost-effective production possible. On the other hand, of course, the functionality must also be guaranteed.
Since the entire product development process is an iterative one, the design phase is normally repeated several times. Test results obtained with manufactured prototypes can make design changes necessary.
CAD programs such as CATIA and Solidworks form the core of the design process. Our daily use of these programs not only guarantees a good result, but also an efficient, streamlined work process.
